When I arrived, I was taken into the sonogram room almost immediately. Here I received great news! The baby was measuring what I thought it should have been the first time! Based on the first sonogram, the baby should have only measured 10 weeks 3 days, but it was actually measuring 11 weeks 2 days. I got my week back! They didn't change my due date, however, and said that they would wait until I see Dr. Hume, the neonatal specialist, on December 11 to confirm :)
So, that means we are now at 12 weeks!!! We are in the safe zone :) Obviously, once you've lost a child at 5 1/2 months you don't believe such zone exists, BUT the doctor is confident that everything will go fine!
During the sonogram, they found the same blood spots from before but the good news is they haven't gotten any bigger. The doctors are just going to keep an eye on them and take action (what action, I am unsure of) when/if necessary.
We got some great pics of our little Poppy at this appointment!

At this stage, the baby was the size of a lime! It is growing so quickly!!! :)
Happy to hear your little one is progressing right on schedule.
