Spring Break 2017: Part 3

On Thursday, we played at Mimis with cousins! Papa got a bunch of square donuts (did I mention we all gained 100 lbs this week LOL) and the babies enjoyed being around family.

PRECIOUS BABIES!

Finally! A timely nap!

That evening, we had one more family dinner at Red Lobster.  Again, the kiddos were good and the atmosphere was great. We had such a great final dinner as a family :)

Hiding the roll basket...

Sitting with cousins far away from mama! Such a big boy!

Lobsters!

That evening, we started to pack up and make sure we were ready for the trip home the next morning. We were ready to get back to daddy and a regular schedule!

Unfortunately, we didn't get to see Granny Ruth and Grandpa Warren this trip because we just didn't have the time to get to Indy :( Also, we didn't get to see Grandma Nene because she was in Chicago with Clay's little ones. We hope to catch them this summer if we make it!

Party Animal, Luke

The next morning, we met up with the Brands for one last goodbye!

Bye babies!
The trip home was super uneventful. THE BABIES WERE SO GOOD! Xavier has always been an amazing traveler but Luke has certainly had his moments. They were both great and it was a stress-less trip with just a few stops for restroom and dinner.

Oh, adn this is what happens when Xavier goes into the gas station alone with Mimi...!!

We left Terre Haute around 10AM due to a hold up with my mom's work. We arrived in Tallahassee around midnight and were SO happy to be home!

The next morning we met my parents for breakfast at Cracker Barrel, our family fav :)

And Xavier decided to prove that he is his daddy's boy by ordering ALL THE MEAT.

And then again by eating it all!

After breakfast, Dustin headed to work for a couple hours while we went SHOPPING! My parents generously bought the boys a few new toys, lots of spring clothes and then decided to spruce up our front porch since we are having landscaping done this month!

Caterpillar!

They headed back home around dinner time and we already miss them so much.

There are no words to express how blessed we are to have my parents. They are so very generous, kind, supportive, and loving. Their actions speak volumes. If I end up being half the parent to Xavier and Luke that they have been to me, I will consider myself a success.

Thank you mom and dad. We love you so much.

Spring Break 2017: Part 2

On Monday it snowed!!! The babies spent the day at Mimi's with their cousins playing with teh puppy, eating a less-than-nutritious breakfast, and playing in the snow!!

These dang donuts!

That evening, we had pizza with Grandpa Bryan and Grandma Lucy to celebrate their birthdays from the week before! We had lots of fun catching up and Xavier particularly enjoyed playing the keyboard...

Also, not pictured is the "fun" that Luke had  with all of the exercise equipment! Ha!

Lol- Lou!

Snow at Grandpa and Niki's!

That evening, Luke managed to find the donuts again...

And papa made his famous popcorn for X. It is his favorite :)

On Tuesday, we spent the day playing at the Brand's farm. The cousins just love playing all day together!

Luke trying to get the cake...

They played for hours and hours without napping so on teh drive home, they both passed out!

That evening, they stayed with mimi and papa while I had dinner with my oldest friend, Rachel :) It was nice to see her! The boys had fun eating dinner and watching the snow fall and I was pleasantly surprised to hear that Luke more than tolerated being away from me!

Of course he was thrilled with my return... :)

On Wednesday, we met my Grandpa Austin and Uncle Ray for breakfast. It was nice to see them as we don't typically see them on every return trip!

Titi on the plate LOL!

After breakfast, my dad took us to see my grandma's grave. I miss her so much.

He then took us to Kimberly's house to play for the day. We ended up staying until dinner time! I'm thankful that my sisters have such spacious homes so that when we all get together it isn't stressful! The kids have plenty of room to play and plenty of toys to play with!

We ALL met for dinner at Roadhouse and all of the kiddos were well behaved! It was surprisingly stress free ;)

We spent the rest of the evening quietly with my parents. The boys just love their Mimi and Papa.
