Beach Life :)

We decided to take Beans to the beach Sunday instead of the park. He LOVES the beach and the water. He would have stayed there all day if we'd let him! Here are some pictures of our afternoon :)

Baby Dot is a.......

Saturday we had the gender sonogram. We were so excited to find out what we were having!

We headed to the facility full of anticipation...

When we arrived, I checked in and we were seen immediately. We went back into the sonogram suite and it was beautiful!

It took about 15 minutes to get Dot to cooperate but after some nudging and prodding, the sonographer had some news....

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!

We are beside ourselves with happiness. We are so grateful for our precious babies!!  Beanie was really excited after the appointment too...

Can't wait to meet you baby sister!

Growing Up Fast :)

So recently (withing the last 2 weeks) Beanie went through a growths spurt. One morning his clothes fit, the next they didn't! Just that fast! He is now out of almost all of his 2t clothes and wearing 3t and 4t. We had to make a special trip last weekend just to buy him some clothes that fit!

I guess we shouldn't be surprised considering he has been wearing the same clothes since last Christmas!

So blessed that we have a precious, healthy, growing little boy.

Haircut Number Three

Xavier has had three haircuts now within the past two months. This time, it is a tad shorter that in times past. Susie said he looks like a "Tampa Bay Buccaneer Football Player" and my mom called him "Moe." Either way, I can't wait for it to grow back...

On the bright side, at least he can see!

Leonidas

Xavier has a new best friend named Leonidas the Lion (dustin named it...).

Xavier has recently taken to this stuffed animal and it always seems to be in the background. He even chooses it as his special toy to take to homecare sometimes :)

I taught him how to love on it and kiss and hug which he mimics beautifully. Dustin, however, taught him to roar and growl and throw around. He does the latter when Dustin is around, but when it is just me and Beanie, he is gentle and kind :)

Fun at the Park :)

As I mentioned in a previous post, we've been visiting the park often now that it has cooled off a bit. It is Xavier's FAVORITE thing to do! Here are some cute pictures and videos of our most recent trips.

"Counting" to Three!

Xavier has started "counting" when he plays with his trucks. He winds them back three times and on three yells really loudly. When he says one, it sounds almost right. Two usually sounds like "do" but three is usually just a wild scream haha. He is so cute and is learning so quickly!

Books!

Our baby LOVES books...there is no doubt about it :) Recently, he has started going back to his room by himself and reading alone. We can hear him talking to himself and "reading." It's precious! We are trying to instill a life long love for reading in our children and it looks like we are off to a good start :)
