One of our favorite things to do as a family on the weekends is throw the babies in a stroller and go for long walks through our gigantic neighborhood. It has become a weekend staple :) On one of our adventures a few weeks ago, we came across this amazing view of one of the lakes we live near. To our surprise, there were cute picnic tables, a few playground pieces and water access right there! The babies were napping the first time we came across it so Dustin and I decided that the following weekend, we would surprise the babies, pack a picnic and spend some time exploring the park and having fun!
The next weekend as planned we packed up the strollers and headed off for the park. When we arrived, Xavier was ecstatic! Needless to say, getting him to eat a lunch was nearly impossible.
