Smarty Pants Kindergartner!

I know I say this all the time, but our little guys are smart! Xavier has spent countless hours this summer (BY CHOICE!) completing workbook after workbook of kindergarten prep. He loves it! We started out with one workbook that was supposed to last the summer and he completed it in 2 sittings! He has completed 4 at this point so there will certainly be no summer loss in this household! :) Again, I must reiterate I only bought one for the occasional lesson. He has insisted on completing so much!

Here are some pics of our baby working so hard! I am mostly amazed that he is able to sit still and focus for such extended periods of time. I am not kidding when I say there were days that he literally worked for 2 hours without stopping. I would encourage him to move on and work on it again the next day but he loves it!

Also, we've attended some local story times, completed science experiments and learned in lots of other ways!

Play Date!

Xavier has missed his friends this summer since he is staying home with me. We decided to have his best friend Aiden over for the day and it did not disappoint! The kids had the best time! I am so thankful that even at a young age, our little guy has such great friends!

Father's Day!

We had a great Father's Day this year! The babies insisted on getting Dustin some donuts for breakfast so that is where we started :)

We "snuck" out early and when he woke up the babies we tickled to surprise him!

They were pretty excited to eat donuts too..LOL!

From there, Xavier spent the morning compiling all of his Paw Patrol puzzles as an extra gift for Dust. It was so sweet :)

After his presentation (lol) we gave Dust his other gifts! We got him a movie and a new wallet but Dustin's favorite part was the card that X made just for him! It had his favorite comic book character on it :)

Next up,Father Son crafting!! Luke painted Dust a picture and X and Dust painted a picture together!!! :)

Finally, we blew up a hige pool (don't ask...) and let the babies swim the rest of the day :) We had lots of fun!

We capped the day with Dustin's favorite pizza and all was well in the Bledsoe household! We just love our holidays :)
