School Pictures

A few weeks back, the boys had their school pictures taken. We opted to put them in bright, fun athletic gear rather than dress them up since we are getting family photos done this month. They didn't turn out amazingly... but they are cute nonetheless. We haven't received our actual prints/digital copies yet but here is a preview of the proofs!

Mimi and Papa Come to Play!

My parents decided to come see us in Mid-October. The boys and I had a 3-day weekend so they jumped in the car and came on down :)

We spent the weekend the way we spend all of our weekends with them-- eating out, shopping, and hanging out around the house and their hotel!

Friday morning we kissed Dust goodbye (he had to work) and headed to Cracker Barrel for breakfast.

After some yummy food, we spent the afternoon shopping! The babies got lots of goodies and by the time nap time rolled around, they were exhausted!

After the babies napped, we headed to my parents hotel which is right by Outback. Once Dust got off work, we met him for dinner :)

After dinner, we headed back to the hotel for Xavier's favorite part of the weekend....SWIMMING! He loves when Mimi and Papa come because he gets to swim as much as he wants! Daddy loves it too.....not :)

The next morning, Daddy headed to work and we headed to soccer with my parents! Beanie was on his A-Game because he wanted Mimi and Papa to see how good he is!

After soccer, we went to a "Soccer Lunch" as X called it. He decided it was in honor of him :)

After lunch, we did lots of shopping! Out of everything the babies got, THESE shoes were my fav! ANd X loves them, too! He has worn them everyday since he got them :)

After lots of shoppin', it was nap time so we took a break at our house.

After naptime, Beanie woke up a little sick :( He batteled it the rest of the weekend and well into the next week. This meant no more swimming and a little less activity than we are used to when Mimi and Papa come to town.

Because X was sick, my parents insisted that DUst and I go on a date while they played with the babies so we obliged :)


The next day, X was feeling a little better so we did lunch at Roadhouse and a little more shopping...

That evening, we ordered dinner in and made dessert. We just spent the evening at our house and it was nice to just spend our last couple hours together at home! We said good bye that evening and my parents left the following morning.

We can't wait until Christmas so we can see them again :)
