The Saturday before my birthday was a super busy one. I've noticed that this has been a reoccurring theme lately- Beanie's social life combined with ours makes weekends a lot less relaxing and a lot more adventurous. In the span of one morning/afternoon I ran a 5k, Bean had soccer, and then Bean had 2 birthday parties to attend. We opted to just take birthday buddy #1 his present to school as we knew there was NO way we could accommodate all of the events of the day. We got up early and didn't stop until nearly 5PM, so by the time we made it home we were pooped! Here are some cute pics of what is becoming a typical Saturday experience for the Bledsoes!
The days started with my race...
Meanwhile, Daddy was at home getting the boys ready for soccer!
Luke's soccer socks!
We met up at practice and spent the morning watching our little guy have the time of his life!
Putting on shin gaurds
Warming up
He didnt want to put his tummy on the ball because the ball was dirty...
After soccer, daddy headed to work and I took the boys to grab lunch. Next on our agenda was Aspen's birthday party at the park. I wore Luke in the moby wrap and we followed his crazy brother around the park for 2 hours. By the time the party was over, we were exhausted!
Birthday card- X can write his own name now!
Birthday Boy!
Tiny Steps Train
We got home in time to say bye to daddy who had to take Midnight to the vet...Whew!
Once daddy returned from the vet, there was no better way to end a great say than with dinner and Hulk Smash!
