Happy Valentine's Day!

This Valentine's Day was lots of fun!! We started off by preparing Valentine cards for our friends at school. The babies posed with their arms in position so that we could print off the photos and attach crazy straws. It appeared as if they were holding the straws-- so cute! Their classmates LOVED them and it was a fun activity to complete together, too!

Here was the photo session:

Luke, though every excited about it, was more difficult to get the correct pose so we improvised!

Kissy Face!

HILARIOUS!

And the finished product...

We also wanted to do something special for their teachers. So, we paid for some redbox codes, made cutesy cards, and attached it to some microwave popcorn. Voila- a movie night at home! We LOVE our teachers!

A few days before Valentine's Day, the boys received mail from Grandma Lucy! They were so excited to get silly,  cute cards from her and loved spending the money while we were away for the weekend in Panama City Beach! Luke chose a treat and Xavier picked out "Spidey" his newest addition to the stuffed animal collection :) Thanks Grandma Lucy!

Finally Valentines was upon us and Mimi sent us LOTS of goodies :)

The babies also had lots of fun at their Valentine's parties at school. Here are some cute pics :)

Valentine's Box!

And finally, Dust and I exchanged gifts. I was super girly this year and used a website to write and publish a small book about us which was super cute. It turned us into cartoon characters anad was an adorable walk down memory lane with lots of jokes, sweet moments and even some bitter sweet moments!

He won the prize for best gift giver this year, though. He upgraded my Fitbit HR to the Fitbit Blaze! I AM SO EXCITED!

Also, the boys and I printed off some of the best  pics of the boys with daddy and surprised him with a "love board" on the fridge :)

We LOVE to celebrate holidays ;-)

Panama City Beach Weekend

In mid February (the weekend before Valentine's Day) the boys and I joined Dustin in Panama City Beach for a conference. He was not thrilled to be going away for the weekend because it meant closing down the office but he had to in order to attend the continuing education classes required by the state.

Dustin had to drive down before us so Friday after school, I picked up the boys and we were there by dinner time. We got checked into the hotel and by the time we made it out to the beach, daddy was able to meet us out there!

Check In!

Silly Balcony Babies

By the time we got back inside, we decided it best to have dinner in the hotel. We spent the evening eating pizza, hangin on the balcony and getting rested up for a busy weekend!

The next morning daddy had to head straight to his conference so the babies and I started off with breakfast :)

We wanted to spend the day at Gulf World, a smaller scale Sea World, but it didn't open until 9:30.  So we walked the peir near out hotel so as not to waste a single moment!

It was nearly a mile long! And the boys loved the view :)

By the time we were done walking back and forth, it was time to head to see the dolphins!

Gulf World was lots of fun! The boys and I were able to see all there was to see within a few hours :) We saw birds, sharks, turtles, snakes, stingrays, and so much more!

My Map Boy

Luke's Face! Haha

Splashed by a stingray!

Empty stadium and Xavier insisted we sat at the very top

Luke got kissed by a seal!

After Gulf World, it was time to go back to the hotel and eat lunch and then head straight down to to pool for some swimming!

After an afternoon of swimming, I took the babies up for Luke's nap. Xavier almost never naps these days but he rested quietly while watching TV.

Sleepy!

Angel Baby!!

While Lukey slept, Xavier and I soaked up the sunshine...until he got too hot and left me! Haha

So then I enjoyed the view and had a much needed quiet mommy moment :)

Once the baby woke, we headed down to the beach to get a few hours of fun in before dinner!

Writing his name :)

Chasing Birds
After beach time,we headed back up to the room for baths and to get changed for dinner :) We met Daddy at Pier Point, a really cool shopping district with restaurants and other shops. We had lots of fun and Xavier and Luke were able to spend the Valentine money Grandma Lucy sent them!

View From Dinner!

Once we got back to the hotel, Dustin insisted I take my wine out to the balcony to have some quiet time after a busy day of single parenting! Lol.  He is so thoughtful.

Mama time!

It wasn't long, however, before I was caught!

Sweet Beach Cuddles

After getting the babies down, Dustin and I snuck back outside where we enjoyed the view and a drink together. It was the most relaxing part of the weekend :)

the next morning, Daddy hopped back over to his conference so the babies and I ate breakfast and spent our last few hours on the beach. Xavier is absolutely obsessed with the sand and the water. I can imagine if we had never moved from Seminole, we would be spending every weekend at the beach!

Around lunch time, we checked out of the hotel and home we went. Luke was EXHAUSTED from such a busy weekend and slept the whole 2.5 hour drive home!!

We feel so blessed to be able to take these adventures with our little guys. This is what life is all about!

And here are some cool videos!
