Luke has been speaking more and more lately! He used the same 5 or 6 words for several months but lately (end of January-beginning February) he has begun exploring his speech and trying new words!
He now says: mama, dada, Xavier, Midnight, No, Yes, ok, GO!, mine, my, where'd it go?, stuck, bye bye, hello, hi, car, hungry, thirsty, help, thank you, please and a few more.
A few of the above words are not completely intelligible to people who aren't around him often but Dustin and I and even Xavier can understand him most of the time. Even when the word isn't completely accurate, he says it the same way each time so we know what he is saying. When he says Xavier, for example, it sounds more like "zayvo" but he says it consistently in that way so we can identify it.
I am noticing that he has some of the same speech patterns (and possibly roadblocks) that X had so I would not be surprised if he is slightly delayed in his speech as well.
He is so silly, fun, spunky, and sassy! Each day is exciting to watch him learn and grow!!
