2018 Ornaments are Here!

One of our favorite weekends has come and gone...ornament shopping! This year, we attempted to purchase them in Jacksonville when celebrating Penelope as we have in years past. Our go to shop in Jax, however, has closed down :(

Instead, we went to all our local ornament shops including one in Thomasville, GA. We made a whole day of it. In the end, we all found out favorites for the year at Target. These are the winners!

Veteran's Day Parade and Picnic

The kindergartners at my school put on a "Salute to America" parade and picnic this year and I was able to attend. It was so sweet and X got to hold the sign for his class! I loved attending and watching our littles honor those who have served.

Kinder Project #3- Tom the Turkey

The goal for the third Kinder project was to disguise Tom the Turkey before Thanksgiving. Xavier wanted to dress him up as a Publix worker and it turned out hilariously amazing. These two are the cutest!

Penelope's 5th Birthday

For Penelope's 5th birthday, I took the day off from work. I did all of my favorite things and tried to relax a bit and just let myself be. My sweet hubby drove across town to meet me for lunch and I took the babies for a birthday treat after school. It was a day of remembrance and surprisingly, peace.

Happy heavenly birthday, Penelope. Mama loves you.

Penelope's Birthday Trip

This year we took a trip to celebrate Penelope's birthday and to keep ourselves busy :) We went to the Jacksonville zoo to see the new Ape exhibit and we had our favorite restaurant for dinner. It was a sweet trip <3
