Painting Updates

This summer we adding a few home projects to our to do list. At the very top was painting the kitchen and hallway. When we bought our home 4 years ago, it was freshly painted but the contractors used flat paint. Well, with two little boys and a large dog, wall stains are just a part of life but there was no way to clean them without taking off the paint.

We finished our little project in less than a week and it looks great! The hallway looks lighter and the kitchen color is a much cooler, soothing color than the beige before.

The Summer of Family Game Night

This summer, we have been game playing machines! We have a closet full of board games and puzzles and we have played non-stop since May. Luke is old enough now to play many of these games independently and we have had so much fun!!!

I am so thankful for a happy home, a dining table that we can gather around, and all the fun memories we've made night after night. :)

Splashin' Sunday Nights

Our church has been hosting "Splashin Summer Sunday Nights" this month which has been AMAZING. The program runs from 5-7 PM and the kiddos wear swim gear and bring towels and money for pizza. They have had a BLAST! There are slipnslides, big bounce houses, sprinkler fun, drinks, popcicles and pizza galore. Our babies have been LOVING it! And, it is just one more way for our kiddos to get involved in church and learn about Jesus :)

Mama and daddy have been loving it, too! We have been able to sneak in frequent date nights which is the best way to end a weekend :)

I can't believe summer is almost over!

Bowling!

I took the kiddos bowling for the first time recently and we had a blast! Our local bowling alley has a great "kids bowl free" program in the summer so for the price of renting their little shoes, we were able to play two games! Side note: Xavier needed size 5 shoes. HOW?! Also, he is really good at bowling! His size definitely helps him with this sport!

And you know I filmed quite a bit...
