Memorial Day Weekend with Grandpa Bryan!

As we mentioned, we closed on our new home last week. Because I am so very pregnant and no help in the moving process, Bryan and Nikki came down for Memorial Day weekend to help us. There are no words to express our gratitude! They were so very helpful! I would have taken Dustin a week to do what they did together in a day. It was also great to spend time with them. Xavier was obsessed with "Gampa" all weekend. He followed Bryan around like a shadow!

Not only did Bryan and Nikki help with the moving process but they helped with "setup." Bryan mounted our TV to our fireplace and helped Dust with some other hot water/washer issues.

They were only able to stay for 48 hours but we so enjoyed their company!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! WE LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOU GRANDPA BRYAN!

Swimming Lessons!!

My partner at school teaches swim lessons during the summer (and has for 20 years). This year, a couple of friends and I signed our kiddos up for 2 weeks worth of lessons, the two weeks in the middle of May. Each lesson is about 45 minutes long. You would be amazed at what a 2 year old can learn in 10 days. It is CRAZY. Though he isn't completely fluent in swimming, he can make it to the step from about 8 feet out, he can swim underwater the length of about 6 feet, and he will actually go underwater without hesitation. He can even dive underwater for rings and bring them back up to the surface! Also, his favorite thing in the world to do is jump in without even being caught! He is fearless which is awesome (and scary at the same time).

We are so impressed with the progress he made in such a short time. We feel better about his safety around pools and he even made some new friends too! Overall it was a great experience and Xavier had the time of his life! He is such a water baby!

Here we go!
