To the Doctor We Go!

Both boys had their yearly well check up last month. Xavier got the whole shebang since he is starting kindergarten in the fall: blood pressure, iron check, vision and hearing...he loved it! Luke on the other hand didn't get any of those things and was mad the whole time because of it. LOL!

The doctor tested Xavier's colors, shapes, letters, writing, etc. She was really impressed and asked me very seriously but kindly why he was completing kinder twice. I took it as a compliment and explained to her our reasoning. No second-guessing-parenting, here! We know what is best for our babies!

Xavier not surprisingly is still in the 90th percentiles for both weight and height. Luke was in the 80th percentile for weight but the 28th for height!! I think that is way off because he is almost keeping up with Xavier's height stats and, though he is the youngest in his class, he is one of the tallest! I'm thinking he was mismeasured :)

Anyway, both are happy and healthy and ready for school in the fall and that is all that matters to this mama!
