Since Beanie is 2 1/2 now, we thought we would update everyone on his favorite things and his developmental stages.
First and foremost, the boy loves to sing. He has memorized 10-12 songs and asks us to sing them with him constantly. He also does little hand motions with them. It is adorable!
He is now much more independent when it comes to the potty! He can pull his pants and underwear down on his own without help so he rarely tells us when he has to potty. Sometimes we see him walking toward the bathroom with pants around his ankles and we know where he is headed! Ha! Also, he can put on and take off his socks and shoes. He is super close to being able to pull up his pants and underwear on his own but they typically get stuck around his bum and we have to help him with the last couple inches :)
He is talking more and more every day. It is amazing to hear new words come out of his mouth. He puts 4, 5 and 6 words together into sentences. He is a smart little thing. He picks up on things so quickly and his memory is scary!
His favorite show/toy/character/book/everything is Jake from the Disney Jr. show "Jake and the Neverland Pirates." He is obsessed. Beyond obsessed. He plays with all of his Jake toys while watching the show.
He is still struggling with sleeping well. He typically wakes up in the middle of the night and comes in to our room to sleep the last couple hours with us. When we return from vacation in December, we are going to start working really hard on keeping him in his room. We want everything to go as smoothly as possible when the new baby arrives.
