Luke's First Doctor Appointment

The first Monday Luke was home, he had his first appointment. Because I wasn't released to drive, Dust came home and picked me and Luke up and we headed to the pediatrician. We didn't wait long.

Once we were called back, they weighed Luke. He weighed 7 lbs 13 oz. He had lost 3 oz over the weekend. I went into a minor panic mode but that was quickly squashed when they checked his bilirubin. It was down to 8.1 from 11.3 just days before. Lastly, they asked us to return in 48 hours for another weight check.

Once we got home, we walked into a completely finished and gorgeous nursery. My mom and sister worked on it the whole time we were gone! It was gorgeous!!

We spent the rest of Monday and Tuesday with my family and said goodbye Tuesday evening...

Wednesday we headed back to the doctor. To our delight, he was up to 8lbs and 1oz. Also, his bilirubin was down to just 4! He was doing great!!
