Spring Break 2016: Part 3

Before we knew it, it was Thursday morning and our trip was coming to an end! We got movin' pretty early that morning and were packed up and on the road by 9AM.

Taking advantage of his last moments of vacation...

When we arrived in Tallahassee, there was a package at the door for Beanie! Daddy had ordered him a special treat for being so well behaved on vacation! It was a new Jake bag for school :)

After unloading the truck, we went to one last lunch with Mimi and Papa.

After we said our goodbyes, my parents headed back for Indiana (they had planned to stay the night in Tallahassee but business was crazy and they just had to get home). The boys and I headed back to our house and started the unpacking/laundry/naptime/playtime. We couldn't wait for daddy to get home! It had been a long week without him!

A quick, cute story: when we got home, I told X to go rest/nap and he did of course. I knew the baby wouldn't go down yet so I set him up with some toys. I went about my housework and didn't notice anything funny until I heard X yell "Mama! Baby is in here!"  Luke had escaped the family room and crawled into X's bedroom (his favorite room in the whole house) to play! It was TOO cute :)

After smuggling him out, he hung with me for the rest of the day :)

The rest of the weekend was spent catching up with daddy! His homecoming was hilarious. You would have thought these babies had been without him for months!

We had an amazing 10 days off together. We are all feeling pretty blessed these days <3
