Play Date

The Monday after break was a Teacher Work Day so this meant I would have no students. Also, the boys' school was close for the same reason so I chose to use comp time and stay home with the boys one extra day.

We made great use of the day and had a play date at the park and lunch with some friends from daycare/sports teams! Xavier had a blast playing with his friends and he thought having lunch with them at Chik-fil-a was the coolest thing ever.

After lunch, we went to Daddy's work to see him (and so Mama could get a massage...) He played with the boys while I relaxed a bit. When I came out, they had made a disaster of the practice! Luckily, this was all going on while the office was closed for lunch so no harm, no foul :)

We spent the rest of the day at home together. I SO enjoy every extra moment I get with these munchkins!

Side note: I took this pic and sent it to Dust on this day. Luke has a TERRIBLE habit of picking EVERYTHING off the floor and eating it! TERRIBLE! We have to vacuum daily practically to keep him from eating anything and everything. Leaves are his favorite. On this particular day, he opened his mouth wide while laughing and I saw a barcode on the roof of his mouth. A BARCODE FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE! It was a produce sticker from breakfast. Lord knows what this kid has swallowed that we don't know about...
