"Aunt" Kelly comes to play :)

As I mentioned previously, Kelly, one of my best friends from IU, came to visit last weekend! Her brother lives in the area so she spent Friday with him and Saturday with us. This was the first time that she and Beanie met so it was special. Unfortunately, the flu that was going around at the time caught up with him and he was not himself for a few days. Still, we made the best of it and it was SO good to see her!

Saturday morning, Dustin and I woke up and sanitized the house like crazy. I was so paranoid that we were going to get Kelly sick so we scrubbed EVERYTHING. I texted her twice to make sure that she knew that we had been sick but she insisted that she would be fine.

After meeting up with her, we ran my parents some medicine and headed home to see Beanie.

One of the outfits Kelly bought me!

It was love at first sight! For Kelly, that is. I "accidentally" woke him from a nap so he was not in the best of moods.

We spent the afternoon playing with baby, oogling over the gifts she had bought Beanie and watching TV.

Candid that Kelly got of our little family!

For dinner, we went to Crabby Bills.

Love her!

After dinner, we went out on the beach...which is HUGE because this was Beanie's first time! We documented the whole experience...

Feet in the water!!

Beanie's first time at the beach :)

Baby footprints!

After the beach, we went home and hung out for a bit before going to bed (we are party animals...). The next morning my mom was feeling better so after Kelly and I grabbed breakfast on the beach we headed to see her. We sat in the lounge chairs and talked while we enjoyed coffee and the view. It was nice to just sit and chat :)

Ahhh :)

We headed home and it was time for Kelly to leave. She got ready and packed up her stuff. We jumped in the car and headed to the airport. Her trip went by so quickly! When she got out of the car, we exchanged hugs and goodbyes...but we would see her again sooner than later.

About 20 minutes later on the drive back home, Dustin's phone rang. It was Kelly on a pay phone. She had forgotten her phone in our car!! We turned around and headed back for the airport...silly girl:)

It was nice to say bye again because who knows when we will see each other again!

Thanks for coming, Kel! We love you!!!
