3 month updates :)

Lately, Beanie has been crying at the end of his feedings so last weekend we had to up his intake AGAIN! He is now getting roughly 6 ounces of milk at each feeding. He still eats about 6 times in a 24 hour period. He's a chunker :)

Also, he is still getting up atleast once (usually twice) during the night. We are patiently waiting for uninterrupted and sleepful nights :)

And now he touches all 4 sides :(

So little...

While Xavier hasn't been to the doctor to be "officially" weighed for two weeks, we are fairly certain that he weighs nearly 18 pounds! This week I weighed myself, and then weighed myself while holding Beanie. It was an 18 pound difference. I didn't believe this so I made Dustin do the same...and it also added 18 pounds to his weight. Just to put this into perspective (for those of you who don't know how much the average 3 month old weighs) my baby books all mention that the average weight of a 3 month old is 13 pounds. The good news is that the average 3 month old is also 24 inches...and he is 26. He's a proportional little 'big' guy :)

Always movin' :)

After two weeks of home care, Beanie has acclimated nicely :) Miss Susie is still sending me pictures each day and he is smiley in just about every single one! When I drop him off each day they hurry to the door excitedly and when I pick him up they smother him with kisses and goodbyes. I am so thankful for this :) It makes enjoying my job so much easier! Here are some home care pics courtesy of Miss Susie!

For the last two weeks, Dustin has been doing the nightly feedings.  Dustin is concerned that I will fall asleep driving in the dark for an hour each morning to work so he insists on getting up each night. We argue about this daily but he is stubborn and wins every time :) I know that this isn't particularly interesting and doesn't even really pertain to Beanie but I wanted to make a point and mention it so that when we look back at this blog in the future, I remember how blessed I truly am and can thank him. He's such a good hubby and an even better daddy :)

Watching Basketball together...

Daddy is helping...he is not quite ready :)

I am so thankful that when I look back at these three months I will remember the impossible and overwhelming joy that I felt.

I love my boys :)
