On June 29th, Beanie and I adventured out on our own for the first time! Dustin's school was having a 4th of July celebration and he wanted everyone to meet our 3 week old bundle of joy. It took me roughly 2 hours to get he and myself ready for the event. It was quite the production! Bean wore a pair of "skinny jeans", a Guess "jean" jacket and a fabulous pair of loafers all of which were on loan from Bryar. We grabbed our deviled eggs and packed up the car. I was a nervous wreck driving him for the first time. I am ashamed to say that I probably was watching him more than the road!

When we arrived, we were welcomed by Dustin's classmates and professors. Bean slept the majority of the time...but everyone still played pass the bean :)

We had a great time...until the drive home. Unfortunately, Beanie woke up grumpy at an inopportune time. Because I was driving, I could not comfort him :( He screamed the whole way home! This made me even more nervous! Luckily, we live 10 short minutes from his school so the fit was short lived.
