Annual Checkups!

In early June, after all the birthday fun, it was time for the babies' annual well check. No one had to get any shots and both boys are seeing, hearing, growing, and learning beautifully. X is still 99th percentile for weight and height. Luke is in the 50th percentile for height and 80th for weight. He has grown at least an inch since this appointment, however, so I am sure these percentiles have since changed.

 The only concern I had at this appointment was Luke's ears. I wanted to see if the tubes were still in place or if they had fallen out. I noticed that he had been bothered by water every once in a while and that he was pulling at his right ear regularly. Dr. Koeppel said that the tubes were in the canal making their way out and that we should take him back to the ENT to get him checked to see if further action needed to be taken.

It is always a great feeling to leave the doctor with the reassurance that we are raising happy, healthy babies :)
