Xavier's Birthday Celebration

After we got home from the beach, Xavier's birthday was upon us! We started the day by having breakfast at daddy's work. The boys love any excuse to visit daddy and birthday breakfast is at the top of the list!

Of course, we could not leave before playing a bit :)

Birthday baby!

 After breakfast, we left daddy to his doctorly duties and we went to the park! Not just any park, though! The splash pad park in downtown Tallahassee. This is a bit of a trek and can get busy so going is a treat.

We got there right when it opened and had the place to ourselves for a long time!

Tired Baby

By the time we got home, it was time to back the cake! This sweet boy had the world at his fingertips: any dessert he wanted! And, of course, he chose the same box mix and blue icing that his has since he was 4! :)

When daddy got home that evening, he had picked up the goodies that Mimi sent as birthday treats!

 They were cute!

Because we had been on vacation for Luke's birthday, we let both of them open presents on Xavier's birthday.

They got some really great presents that we have gotten lots of use out of! The slip'n'slide and fort building kit were hits!

Xavier got to pick his birthday dinner and he chose Chili's because he loves chips and salsa.

Once we were finished eating, We went home to play with the toys!

 The boys also opened their birthday cards from all the grandparents and great grandparents on this evening! Thank you all for loving our boys!!

Happy 6th birthday to our ray of sunshine! Mommy and daddy love you so!!!
