Luke's last day of school was his favorite day of the year! Yes, because he knew it meant he got to spend the entire summer at home with mama, but also, it meant that he got to wear his birthday crown! His teacher told me that he had been waiting ALLLL year for this moment and apparently he pranced around school all day in his special crown LOL. His last day of school fell two days before his birthday so we used it as an opportunity to celebrate!

Luke's last day was my last day, too! As soon as I was done fulfilling my teaching end of year duties, I headed off to Luke's school where I brought the snack he picked out to share with his friends!

After the birthday song and all the sugar, Luke was ready to go! He said goodbye to his friends for the summer, grabbed him bag of things and off we went!
