In early April, Xavier's gymnastic class had their spring performance. It fell on a Wednesday at 3pm which was frustrating because obviously Dustin and I work during the day. It was decided that I would leave work a little early so that one of us could make it. When I was penciling it in, however, I realized I had a doctor's appointment that day- and not just a doctor's appointment, but THE appointment in which we were to schedule the C-section. Dust encouraged me to reschedule because he wanted one of us to be there for Bean and it would be impossible for him to miss work. After playing phone tag with my doctor's office for two days, I was told that if I canceled, I wouldn't be able to get in until April 22. By that time I would be nearly 33 weeks pregnant. The thought of not have a C-section and a birthing plan by that far along made both Dustin and I nervous. SO- Dustin decided to move his patients around and block off a little chunk of his schedule so that I could attend my appointment and Beanie would have him as an audience :)
Though I am sad that I missed it, I am so glad Dust got to go! He doesn't get to do nearly as many "fun" activities with Bean at school as I do. I put him on strict camera duty and he snapped several cute pics and videos :) That evening, as a prize for doing such a great job, we took Beanie out for a special dinner and frozen yogurt. We are so proud of this little guy!
It`s so cute to see Xavier watching Dustin getting video of him - peeking around the teacher
