Happy Easter!

Last Sunday, the Easter Bunny paid Beanie a visit! He left Xavier lots of goodies and even some eggs in the front yard for an Easter Egg hunt!

When Xavier woke up, he remembered that the Easter Bunny was coming and wanted to go check it out first thing.

He loved all of the treats the bunny left him! We spent the morning reading books (all 20 of them…) and eating a nice Easter breakfast.

After breakfast, Daddy went outside and noticed that the Easter bunny had left some eggs behind so Xavier hunted for them! He LOVED it! Here's a video of the ENTIRE hunt :)

The Easter Bunny must have heard about Xavier's love for popcorn because that is what he put in most of the eggs! A couple of them, however, had Starburst and Skittles in them, probably for daddy ;-)

Once we finished hunting eggs, Xavier took his basket inside, sat on the tile floor and munched on the popcorn until it was gone!!

Mommy had a mess to clean up...
Next up, Xavier watched an e-card that granny and grandpa Ross had sent him. He LOVED it and asked to watch it over and over again. This kept him occupied for a good ten minutes.

After all of this, it was time to settle down. Xavier snuggled up with daddy and read a few of his new books again before nap time.

After a quick nap, we ate the Easter lunch that I prepared and then it was time to go outside and play!

Xavier and Daddy used the new squirt guns that the Easter Bunny brought and played easily for an hour while mommy watched (and was attacked every once in a while).

Next up, we went to the park!

And after the park, we took Beanie for a special Easter frozen yogurt treat :) Daddy even let Beanie go back for seconds when he insisted he needed "MORE!"

By the time we got home, it was early evening. Xavier went outside to workout in the garage with Daddy while mommy cleaned, organized and relaxed. After dinner, Daddy let Xavier eat some of his Easter chocolate (the only chocolate he got) and Xavier of course loved it!

Overall, it was a fun-filled Easter Sunday. We enjoyed each other very much!
