Kindergarten Awards Ceremony

A couple weeks ago, Dustin and I both took off work to attend Xavier's kindergarten award ceremony. His teacher had emailed us in advance and told us that we would want to be present :) Dustin and I dropped the boys off at school at their normal times and decided to steal a little coffee date beforehand.

When we arrived, a friend of mine  had saved us a seat in the front row. Watching the kindergartners come in with their teachers was amazing. They were so well behaved.

I snuck a few pics before the program started. Xavier was so happy to see Dustin and I there!

Beth and I- this is Allie's mama

Once the program started, the principal said a few words and then it was onto the teachers. Xavier's class was up first!

Ms. Kilgore

Mrs. Lieser got very emotional, and rightfully so! It is her last of 40 years!

Xavier was concerned when she started crying

Sweet Allie!
As they started calling for awards, Xavier got the Penmanship Award! He does have excellent handwriting. He is so meticulous!

Next, he got the Excellence Award! We were SO proud of him, but I didn't get it on film because we weren't expecting it. We are so pleased to see how he has grown academically, socially and emotionally!

After the other classes, there was an opportunity for pictures. I am so excited that I was able to capture these special moments :)

Per the boys' request, I got a pic of X with his bff Bowan. He will miss Bowan next year!

And of course, a sweet pic of X and his teacher.

We had a special morning with our special kindergartner and are so pleased with all he has accomplished this year. We love you sweet Xavier!!
