Indiana Christmas: Part 1

After Santa came, I had 1.5 days to clean and organize the house, put away Christmas gifts and get everyone packed for our trip. On Tuesday morning, I took Dust to work, dropped the babies at school and had 3 hours to tie up loose ends and get Midnight's sitter situated.  I left the house for good at 10 AM, grabbed the babies and headed for Dustin's office. When we arrived, he jumped in the driver's seat and we were off!

Luckily, both babies slept for the first 90 minutes as it was nap time.

We spent the rest of the day driving and the kids did great. Luke had a meltdown towards the end of the day but it was nothing we couldn't handle. We finally pulled over around 10PM because Xavier is just too old to sleep in a carseat.

Nashville

We stopped in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. After breakfast, we got back on the road and were home by 10:30 AM. We were SO happy to be out of the car! Of course, family was waiting at my parents for us :)

It was so good to see everyone!

By the way...these babies were only born 47 days apart

We spent the day lounging around the house as family came and went. Of course, the day wouldn't be complete without one of the 9 grandkids getting hurt...

Stratton fell down 2 stairs and THIS happened :(

By the end of the day, the babies were reacquainted with their cousins and we were ready for a GOOD nights sleep. Unfortunately, Luke was up from 12-4AM. :(

The next day was Christmas Eve. We decided that we would have our Austin family Christmas that morning. By 11AM, everyone was back and it was present time.

Sleepy Baby

Xavier and Luke were spoiled rotten. They got a tractor to ride, a new trampoline, a thomas train to ride, and so many other things. They were happy little boys.

Holidays are tough!

Dust and Ledger

After everyone left, we had just enough time to get the babies to nap before heading out to Dugger for the Bledsoe Christmas!
