Another Black Eye :(

The day before we left for Indiana, I got a call from Xavier's school that he had been pushed by a classmate and had hit his eye just right on a book shelf. The director then sent me a picture via text message of his eye and I called back immediately to tell her I would be there as soon as I could.

10 minutes later, I pulled into his school. After speaking with the director and teachers, Xavier and I headed to Dustin's office to have a doctor look at it. Daddy gave it the all clear and told me to go get him a prize for being so brave :)

Xavier picked out a new toy at Target and spent the rest of the afternoon at home with me playing while I cleaned and packed :)

He got a Mickey Mouse toy to make him feel better :) 

It looks awful, a lot worse than it is. He was a trooper though and acted like it was no big deal. You'll notice in the coming Christmas pictures that it gets way worse before it gets better. In fact, here is a glimpse.
