2014 Christmas in Indiana: Part 1

We got up on 12/23 at 3 AM. We were all packed up and ready to go so it was a matter of brushing teeth, getting dressed and hitting the road. We drove from 3:15-8 until we needed to stop to wake up a bit. We ate a quick breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then hit the road again. After only 4 stops (including the final stop in Farmersburg where Dustin simply pulled down Beans pants and let him pee in the grass...) we arrived at my parents around 4 PM. Bean was amazing! He had ZERO meltdowns. He was either sleeping, watching his Mickey Mouse or quietly looking out the window the entire trip. He only needed to stop to pee 4 times and had no accidents.

When we got to my parents, my sisters were waiting for us. We spent the rest of the evening catching up and eating my dad's famous chili. :)

The next morning, Christmas Eve, we all hung out at my parent's house until it was time to go to George and Anne's in Dugger for Dustin's family Christmas.

After making sure Beanie napped, we got dressed and headed to Dugger. We had a great time catching up with everyone and really enjoyed meeting Bryan's girlfriend, Nikki. :) Xavier got several nice gifts and was OBSESSED with Ann's Christmas village figurines.
