Disney World Part 1 :)

Detailed descriptions of our ride and character experiences will follow this post. The following is a description of our morning in the park.

Once we arrived through the gates, we were greeted with the lovely Main Street Square. We saw Pluto and Marie waiting for photos but decided to get straight to Dumbo as it's line is ALWAYS the longest. I of course got some pictures along the way :)

Cinderella's Castle

Walt and Mickey

Anddddd the baby fell asleep!
Right as we entered the park and headed towards the rides, Xavier fell asleep! I could not believe it! We decided to let him take a cat nap. We knew that when we parked the stroller and got in line for a ride, he would wake up.

Nap #1 at 9 AM

After parking the stroller and hopping in line, we were nervous. He was still asleep!

Asleep in line for Dumbo...
Luckily, he woke up just in time!
Dumbo's Circus!

:)
After his cat nap, and riding Dumbo not once but twice, we headed over to the big top to get Xavier his very first autograph book, autograph pen, and Mickey ears. We found birthday ears and they even embroidered his name on the back for free as a gift from Mickey ;)

After spending a fortune, we went next door to the Big Top to get autographs from Goofy and Donald Duck :)

Once we got out of the Big Top, we headed for the tea cups!!!!

Yay!

Mama and Baby!
Up to this point we had gotten a lot accomplished and it was only 11 AM! We were all ready for lunch so we sat down for a bite to eat at "Pinochio's Haus."

Lunchtime!
Lunch was quick and yummy! We wasted no time getting back out into the action :) Unfortunately, while we were eating, the temperature was rising. When we left the restaurant, it felt exponentially hotter!

We happened to leave at the perfect time because as we were exiting, we caught a glimpse of Cinderella's step mother. We hopped in line and in no time, we had her picture and autograph :)

Evil Stepmother!
We still had 3 rides/shows that we wanted to hit in fantasyland before heading to a new land. Next up was "It's a Small World."

Two minutes in...
The ride was a little too relaxing for baby...he fell asleep!

:)

We got off of that ride and headed to Peter Pan...
Waiting...

Awake just in time!
After Peter Pan, we headed to an interactive 3D show. After that, it was time to re-hydrate. It was super hot out. I think Xavier went through 4 or 5 sippy cups of water.

Hot baby!
Next, it was on to Adventureland...but in order to get there we cut through Frontierland. There we found Chip and Dale!

Bear Jamboree :)
Once we arrived to Adventureland, we rode Aladdin's Magic Carpet, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Jungle Cruise.

So. Hot.

Relief Indoors...

:)

In the Jungle!
Once we got off the Jungle excursion, we were greeted by rain. It was a welcome relief to the heat...for about 5 minutes. Then we were hit with a Tsunami! It rained...and rained...and rained! Luckily, Dustin was able to purchase 3 Disney ponchos for 25 dollars before it really started coming down :(

We found shelter in Tortuga Tavern. We sat there for about an hour, waiting for the storm to pass. It began to thunder and lightening and it was close! Lots of the kiddos around us were scared but Xavier kept his cool per usual :)

Drip, drip, drop little April Showers
Although we were stranded, we were determined to not let it get us down :)
