Day at the Beach :)

Sunday, we tried to make the best of our situation and headed to the beach despite Beanies bump on the bean :)

We made sure he was good and bandaged, put on our swimmin' suits, packed up the beach bag and umbrella and headed for the beach! It was a GORGEOUS day :)

Indian Rocks Beach, here we come :)

Xavier was alert but confused. He has been on the beach a couple times but never just to play. It has always just been a walk after dinner or a couple minutes after a race. Sunday was the first time we went soley for the purpose of playing in the sun :)

He played in the sand  a little but mostly just pummeled me and blocked the sun :)

Before we left, we went down to the water so he could put his toes in it. He wasn't a fan. In fact, he screamed bloody murder! haha

We will try again soon. It is just a matter of time before he is a beach bum like his mama!

PS- In case you were wondering...he has my fair skin type! He turned a little pink even though he had sunscreen on! Maybe he will tan up when he is older???
