Flying home!

When we got to the airport, we got our boarding passes and headed for security.

Let's go home!

I felt extremely bad for the people behind us (and you could tell that they felt bad for themselves as well....). It took us forever to unload all of our bags, the stroller, carseat, belts, shoes, jewelry and juggle beanie. Of course we left the diaper bag...the most important bag...on the ground on the opposite side of security. They grabbed it for us and shot it through the x-ray machines. An alarm started beeping and they quickly took it aside. There was something in it that needed to be checked.

waiting on the bottles.......

We stood next to the "liquid testing" machine for what seemed like forever. The man had to sample the milk and water in each of the bottles. It was annoying to say the least...

What's taking so long?!

After getting through security, we  had a few moments to spare so we stopped at the Wolfgang Puck restaurant by the gate for a quick bite!

Not sure if he is sick of the traveling or me taking pictures.....

Beanie waiting on the food!

After eating, we headed for our gate. Of course, our flight was delayed but Beanie was very well behaved so we survived :)

Daddy and Beanie waiting on the plane!
Sleepy!

After what felt like forever and a gate change, we finally were able to board...just to sit on the plane for 45 more minutes! Finally, we took off!

Somewhere over Indiana...

Beanie had a very slight meltdown and Dustin and I were both nervous that this plane ride would no go as smoothly as his first. He cried for literally 120 seconds, and the mean old man in front of us shook his head. After just a moment, he calmed down, fell asleep and didn't wake up until we got to our car in Tampa! Several people complimented him when we landed and I was glad that the mean old man heard all of them!

going home!

I was sad...

When we landed, we headed for the transportation to the parking garage where our car was. On the bus to the garage, a few guys noticed Beanie's IU pacifier and mentioned it. It turns out, one of the guys had graduated from IU and was a teacher! He went through the same program that I did :) I shouldn't be that surprised since Indiana University had literally the biggest Alumni in the nation! Go Hoosiers! :)

We parted ways with our new friend, put our belongings in the car, and headed home. Beanie's first trip had come to an end and he was such a good little boy! :) We can't wait to go back and visit again!

On the way home!
