After hugging my mom for twenty minutes at the airport, we jumped in the car, buckled beanie in, and headed for Terre Haute. We spent the drive chatting and catching up...and by we, I mean my mom and I. Dustin and my dad couldn't get a word in edgewise. Before I knew it, we were at my grandparents.
Even though it was late, my grandparents insisted that we stop by on
our way home. They hadn't met Xavier yet and I was so excited to
introduce them :) We were only there for a few moments and again I was
so excited that I forgot to take a picture :( But, I will always
remember my grandpa holding him in his recliner for the first time...the
same chair that he held me in as a little girl...the same chair that he
held all 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren in. What beautiful
memories :) We are so blessed!
After leaving the
Clouse's, we headed for Kimberly and Neil's house. Kylee and Bryar were
there waiting on us too! Kimberly, Neil, Layla and Charlie were in
Florida when I delivered Beanie so they had met him but Kylee and Bryar
hadn't! We were all so excited!

Despite the late hour,
we stayed and chatted for an hour. We laughed, cried, hugged and the
babies had a melt down or two. Finally, we headed back to my parents
house to call it a night. Beanie was EXHAUSTED and slept good that
night!
