After more than 8 years with our sweet pup, we had to say goodbye to Midnight. On Christmas Eve, we got a call from our dog sitter letting us know that she had passed away in the night. While she wasn't in the best of health the last year of her life, we certainly didn't expect to lose her so suddenly. As horrible as it was, we were thankful that our babies weren't home to find her and that Bryan and Niki were in Georgia and able to go to our home to get her and bury her.
We didn't tell the boys until we were nearly home from our trip. We wanted them to enjoy Indiana but also didn't want them to look for her when we returned home. Parenting is hard :(
We have missed her so much in the last few weeks.. Again, thank you Grandpa and Niki for taking such good care of her. We are happy to have her on your property where we wont forget her.
