Thanksgiving Break

This year we got an entire week off for Thanksgiving! It was wonderful to have all that time at home with my babies. Dustin was off for a large part of the week too so we definitely soaked up the extra snuggles and family time! We hit up the library, the park, crafted, played outside a ton and did lots of cooking and baking! It was great.

Oh, time :(

Frisbee!

We NEVER let them eat out of the bag...this was a real treat!

They picked out the perfect turkey!

Eating a special donut at the gym...

Wednesday was a big day! We baked our special Thanksgiving breakfast muffins for teh following day as well as the boys' favorite pumpkin cake for Thanksgiving dessert! The boys are so helpful in the kitchen :)

After all the baking, it was time to go to the dentist. Xavier had a cavity in May that the dentist wasn't worried about but it started causing him pain...

This is a whole other blog post but on Wednesday of break, we went to get it filled. Unfortunately, the dentist was unable to do so but while numb, X chewed a significant sore into his cheek :( We definitely left in worse shape than we came. More on this soon...

Before we knew it, it was Thanksgiving morning! Dustin and the boys prepared the turkey and left all the fixins' to me!

This pic made me giggle... :)

While waiting on dinner to cook...

By 1:00, lunch was served!

It was delicious! Turkey, Deneen's noodles, my gandma's green bean recipe, mashed potatoes, corn and crescent rolls! YUM!

And afterward, CAKE!

It was a great Thanksgiving for the Bledsoes!

He LOVED the green beans!

Friday was a different story....

X woke up sick. His fever got up to 104. He is NEVER sick so this mama was a worried mess all day! :(

He laid in bed most of the day and it took nearly the whole day to get his fever down. I was convinced hiss tooth was causing an infection. Luckily, after some medicine, lots of liquids and rest, he woke up Saturday as good as new!

Of course baby bubby needed to be right next to him.
 Sweet daddy getting presents wrapped!

The rest of teh weekend was spent playing outdoors and resting!

On our last evening of break, we took the boys to Dorothy B. Oven to look at teh Christmas lights! Post coming soon :)

We hope everyone had an amazing holiday!
