Getting back to normal after Hurricane Irma was tough! Wednesday ended up being a teacher planning day for all of the public school teachers but since both boys are in private school, they were able to return. On teacher planning days I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule so I checked out around Xavier's lunch time and grabbed a sweet treat on my way to have lunch with him.

A treat for Xavier and his teacher! |
When I arrived, Xavier was so surprised! I did not tell him ahead of time that I was planning to visit and it MADE HIS WEEK! He was so excited and giggly the entire hour. It definitely filled up my love tank :)

Peaking in through the door! |
We got to eat at a special round table for just the two of us. We talked and giggled and he asked for no less than 100 hugs and kisses. It was so special.
As lunch time was wrapping up, he headed over to a table with some friends for some pictures!

Long time swim friends! |
I ended up getting to spend almost an hour with Xavier which was a pure delight. As a teacher, I rarely get to see my babies during the school day. His teacher was very accommodating and loved the cookies we got for her! She had nothing but great things to say about our special kindergartner.
Our lunch was such a success that daddy decided he needs to get in on some of the action. He is planning to surprise our Bean soon, too :)

Special times for a "SPECIAL" young man.
