First Day of Kindergarten!

I can't believe I am blogging about Xavier's first day of kindergarten. I keep telling myself it doesn't really count because his REAL year of kinder is next year. I am sure next year I will use the same excuse to keep myself from being upset again :)

So, after the new shoes were purchased, uniforms monogrammed, back pack and lunchbox packed with new supplies and hair was cut, there was nothing left to do but take him :(

Luke tried to steal the show...

After a photo shoot session... off we went. Dustin stayed home from work to take Luke to his orientation and Xavier and I headed off to school.

He insisted on taking a pic with the fish for daddy :)

Sweet babies!

After hanging out for a bit and getting him situated...I was off and our 5 year old was so brave and excited. I am so grateful that he is so well adjusted. Even with his excitement, I shed a few tears.

Meanwhile, daddy was breaking all the rules, showing up to Annsworth in Super Hero clothes! I can't take him anywhere.

Orientation for the 2 year old class :)

Reluctant to go back to school...

Xavier's first day fell on my school's orientation so I couldn't pick him up like usual. Dustin did a great job of catching the moment though! He looks so cute running out to the car :)

He had such a great day!!!

Since school started a couple weeks ago, both boys have transitioned beautifully! We are so proud of both of them and are so grateful for each milestone they reach :)
