It was HOT. BUT, we managed to have an amazing day anyway! My favorite part was watching X take on the park like a big boy with daddy and watching Luke stare at the animals in PURE AMAZEMENT!
We made some beautiful memories and will certainly return soon! Here are some pics and videos and a brief description of our day :)
We left our home around 5 and arrived at SeaWorld at 9 when they opened. Considering how often we go to Disney, we were expecting Disney customer service and that simply isn't the case at this park. The process for entering the park (even for super organized people like us who bought tickets in advance and had them ready) was so unorganized. There setup in general throughout the park seemed to have this common theme everywhere we went and that was our biggest complaint. The lines are unorganized and much longer than necessary....
Anywho- once we got in the park, we let our map guide extraordinaire, Xavier, lead the way. We started with feeding/petting the stingrays!
Next, we went straight to the Dolphin Show! LUKE LOVED THE SHOWS! He kept doing sign language for "more!" Before this trip, he had only signed more when he wanted food. It was AMAZING!
Next we went to see lots of animal displays including Manatees and Alligators.
The first ride we went on was the Penguin ride. Luke and I just went to see the actual penguins but Dustin and X went on the ride. It was COLD! They keep it at 32 degrees so when you're wearing shorts and a tank, it gets chilly fast.
After the ride, we used ate lunch. We bought the "dine all day plan" and while we didn't eat much due to the heat, we made our money back 3-fold just in drinks!
Next we headed to see SHAMOO! Did I mention that this park is BEAUTIFUL?! Gorgeous water views and exotic plants everywhere. We were really impressed with the upkeep.
For this show, X and Dust wanted to get wet so we split up. They sat in the splash zone (and got SOAKED) and Luke and I found a quiet spot up high where we could take lots of cool pics and videos :)
I could see the boys from where we were sitting and SO wish I could have captured them getting soaked. It was GREAT.

Before we went to SeaWorld, we told X about it and tried to kind of "educate" him about it so he would be really excited. We looked online and found videos of some of the attractions and one of the "extras" that he just HAD to do was the Flamingo paddle boat. Dust was totally fine with paying a bit more so that he could do this because he was STOKED!
When we got to this attraction, it was around noon. More than 100 degrees. Out on the water. With a life jacket. And no shade. Xavier had the time of his life. Dustin took one for the team haha!
Luke and I were in the shade at this point and you can see just how hot we were!
After they paddled, a storm came through. Barely any rain because it is an outdoor park and lightening was in the area, the closed most of the rides. We decided to go to a nearby shark tank and admire some of the fish :)
And waited out the rain under shelter.
After no time at all, the park was back up and running and we went on the helicopter simulation ride. It was intense!

Next, Daddy and X pet some sharks!
Then we sat for an early lunch and had the most amazing view!
At this point, the lightening came back. So we used a fast pass and got back on the Penguin. It was fun!

Finally, all of the storms cleared and we made our way to the part of teh park that we spent the rest of the day in: Shamoo's Happy Harbor!
Here, there were 12ish rides geared for little kids only! Carousels, flying saucers, a jungle net, a train, a pirate ship...the list goes on and on! We could have spent the entire time in this part of the park alone! I didn't get many pics but this was the best part of the boys' day besides the shows.
Other than the disorganization, the weather, and the useless park map, we had a great experience!
AND our day in a nutshell :)
