About 3 hours in, our AC stopped working! We drove for another hour before we pulled over for some food and a break in the air conditioning. Luckily, when we got back on the road, it was working and we didn't have any other problems with it.

It was dusk by the time we made it to Nashville. As we were driving through on that July 22nd evening, we both realized it was 8 years ago to the day in that same city that Dust proposed :)
We made it to my parents around 1 AM and we were BEAT! We spent the next morning relaxing and playing until it was time to head to the service for Paul.
We spent the evening with our loved ones remembering Paul. Dustin and I were so grateful to be able to be home to celebrate such a special life.
The babies were SPENT by 7 so I took them back to my parents and Dustin was able to stay and visit with family for a bit longer.
Dustin left for Florida early the next morning while the babies and I stayed for another week. We spent the entire day with my sisters and their babies at my parents house. They had so much fun playing outside together :)
