4 Year Updates

Our first baby is 4 years old. Where has the time gone? This last month has been a whirlwind of finishing up the school year, traveling and celebrating! It seems like this is our busiest time of year! It is definitely a fun time of year, that is for sure.

Xavier weighs 50 lbs and is 42 inches tall. At his 4 year well check up, the doctor assured me he looks perfect. His sight and hearing is on target, his speech and vocabulary are excellent and she was impressed with how he is with his baby brother too :) He is learning new things each day and surprises us with new ideas and thoughts constantly. He is currently spending the summer at home with me and LOVES it. He is such a home body :)

His favorite things are playing with daddy and Luke, Apple juice, Callou, talking about Disney World, sharks, reading books, and Legos. He has an amazing sense of himself. He is thoughtful and often thanks Dustin and I for the things we do and buy for him without being told. He is becoming more self aware. He has also revved up the temper tantrums lately. I think this is due to the fact that we are transitioning out of nap time and into quiet time. He won't really nap for us anymore so he is struggling with frustration at bedtime. We are working through it :)

He is my bestest buddy and we are REALLY enjoying this special summertime together! He is our pride and joy!
