New things he has begun to do: ROLL OVER (finally!!!), shake his head no, doing something he shouldn't and then laugh when we say 'no', attempt to crawl, hold himself up in standing position, fight sleep, and losing interest in the bottle.
Things he LOVES: Xavier, chewing on everything, baby food (specifically green beans), playing in his ball pit, swinging in his new swing (thanks grandma Lucy!), daddy coming home from work (he just lights up!) and mama :)
He still sleeps in his swing quite a bit due to ear infections and teething. Unfortunately, he is too mobile and it is no longer safe! We have woken up 2 times now to him on the floor! He kicks himself out of it. This makes putting him down in the middle of the night more challenging as he prefers the swaying of the swing.
When we went back to the doctor the 3rd time to check his ears, he STILL had an ear infection. We decided not to go with the 3rd dose of anti-biotics just yet. We are trying some holistic things and seeing where that gets us. His tummy was just a mess with all of that medicine and we are hopeful now that he has two teeth, some of the pain will subside.So far, he already seems much better. We go back next week for a check.
He still gets up 2-5 times a night, if not more. Its exhausting but it can't last forever, right? The last couple of nights I have given him a pacifier and it has seemed to really help!
He is totally into baby food and wants to eat everything we are eating, too! He has lost interest in bottles and only gets 3-4 a day. The majority of those are at night and at bedtime.
He can now sit up, roll over, rock back and forth to crawl, hold himself up, and is attempting to climb up to furniture.
This month, he got his first 2 teeth!
He has such a personality and we enjoy him oh so much!
PS- the monthly pics are much more difficult with a mobile baby who doesn't want to sit still!
