Thursday while I was on the treadmill, however, I got a text from my mom. She proposed that she and my dad come to Florida to pick Xavier and I up and bring us back to Indiana for the week. WHAT?! I thought they were crazy! Who would want to do that?! I wanted to go home and spend time with family but flying out of Tallahassee would cost over $1,000 for X and I since he can't fly for free anymore. And my parents and Dustin have forbidden me to make the drive home myself so it seemed that this was our only option. Have I mentioned how amazing my parents are? Because they are seriously amazing.
Anyway, I wasn't going to let them do it but after some serious begging on my mom's part, and speaking with Dust, I caved. They jumped in the car Friday night and were at our house on Saturday morning :)
Xavier and I were all packed and ready to go. We stayed in Tallahassee long enough to show my parents the home we are moving into in July and grab some lunch and we were off. It was Indiana or bust!

Our adventure begins! We will miss you Daddy! |
After lunch, I hopped in the driver's seat and drove for the first 3 hours so my dad could nap. He was going on NO sleep. He and Xavier slept great and my mom caught this adorable pic :)
Sleeping Buddies |
After 3 hours, we stopped for gas and a diaper change and my dad took the wheel. We drove for a few more hours until we reached an exit in Georgia that has a restaurant/orchard/market called "Lanes" that my parents frequent on their drives home. They insisted we go their because it is really yummy. It is several miles off the beaten path but that is my parents in a nutshell. They always find the good places. It was a much needed break for Bean. We ate, looked at the packaging room or "the line" and even played on the playground for a bit.

Playground Pit Stop! |
After dinner, we got back on the road. My dad needed to stop at a certain Bass Pro Shop not far from Lanes because it had something that he couldn't get at home. It was another welcomed stop for the baby.
Getting tired! |
After the Bass Pro Shop, it was all business. My dad drove, Beanie watched his Mickey Mouse on the Ipad, and my mom and I chatted and napped.
We hit Atlanta around 8PM. We still had 8 hours to go!!
In the end, we made it without stopping. We arrived home at 4 AM. My dad managed to get us home in one piece :)
