Xavier and I just got back from an 8 day trip home to Terre Haute. A long-time friend of mine, Rachel, got married last weekend and I was a bridesmaid in her wedding. We decided to take the opportunity to throw X a first birthday party while we were home too :)
Xavier and I flew home on Thursday evening. Thursday was my last day teaching summer school and as soon as the kids were dismissed, I packed up my car and headed to get Bean from Susie's. We headed home and made sure that all of our necessities were packed up for our trip. As soon as Dust got home, he drove us to the airport. Because he had patients on Friday, he couldn't fly in until Friday evening.
The airport experience was smooth as usual and Xavier made a lot of new friends in the terminal :)
Once we got on the plane,Xavier fell fast asleep, per usual! He's been on roughly 10 flights and slept through every single one haha!

Once we got off the plane, my dadio was waiting at baggage claim to help us! We got situated in his car and off we went!
Once we got to my parents house, Kylee was there waiting on us. She just couldn't wait to see Beanie :)

At approximately midnight, we finally turned in for the night. Although my parents have a nursery equipped with a beautiful crib, we opted for a slumber party that night. We snuggled all night long :) Thank goodness my parents have the MOST comfortable beds!
