Home for the Holidays

On the first Thursday of our break, the boys and I packed up and met Dust at his office. We drove through the evening until we got to the mountains. We stayed over night in Chattanooga.

Atlanta!

The next morning, we got up early, had some breakfast and headed onward! The babies were angelic on this trip. not one single meltdown, argument or complaint! Technology helps :)

We arrived in Terre Haute in the early evening and enjoyed a yummy dinner with cousins!

We also went outside to see the lights on Mimi's house which the boys loved!

The next morning we awake to ice and snow! Our boys were in heaven. We got dressed and headed to Indy for Christmas with Ruth, Warren, Deneen and Mike.

We had such a great day with them! The food was good, the company sweet and the boys were spoiled rotten with presents. We missed Clayton and his family though!

By early evening, it was time to hit the road! We said our goodbyes and headed back to Terre Haute.

The next day we woke up to more snow! The boys were in heaven! Dustin took them out to play and we had a leisurely morning at my parents. That evening, we bundled up and headed to Dugger for our Christmas Eve celebration.

Thanks grandpa Bryan!

We just love visiting Ann and George and always have such a great time. They treat our boys so kindly and are always so thoughtful with their gifts :)

And there were bonus presents in the car to open from Grandma Lucy!

The next day was Christmas! We spent Christmas day at the Clouse's. It was so great to see my family :)

On the way, Dust drove the boys by his very first home :)

My love.

Once we got home, Dust took the boys out into the snow to play. This was followed by a steaming warm bath!

That evening was Christmas with my parents and sisters, also known as Christmas #5 for our babies.

The holidays truly are wonderful.

The next morning, before we knew it, it was time to leave. We got up bright and early on the 26th, said goodbye and off we went.

Always so hard!

On the road again

Best friends.

And 12 hours later, we were home!

This year's trip was quick but full of love and family and all things Christmas. We are so thankful for our families in Indiana.
