Muffins with Mama!

This year, the boys' school had a Mother's Day breakfast again. I took off the morning for the occasion and the babies were so excited that I would be taking them to school instead of Dust. Any change in our normal routine is super exciting to them! Haha!

We all got dressed and were out the door quickly so I decided to take X to the doughnut shop and let him pick out a treat for breakfast. We NEVER do this so he was SUPER excited. He chose a pick doughnut with sprinkles and is still talking about it :)

Once we got to school, we headed into the classroom where they were serving the moms' breakfast. I got a muffin and some juice and sat at the table with both of my boys and just enjoyed their company. There were moms and kids everywhere but it was so nice to be present with them! Luke thought it was hilarious that I was at his school.

After breakfast, it was time for me to head back to work. I dropped Lukey off at his classroom and he gave me (ok, his teacher gave me) some gifts that he made me. They were amazing. I kissed him goodbye and then went out onto the playground with X for a bit. We kissed and hugged goodbye and then, like usual, he ran to the fence so he could see me drive away.

Thankfully, no tears were shed and goodbye was the easiest it has been yet! I just love being a mama and am so thankful for these boys who made me one :)
