Back to School

We arrived home from our trip Sunday. We took our time and grabbed a hotel Saturday night just north of the Alabama line.

Once we got home, it was serious business. Laundry, cleaning, organizing and grocery shopping before it was back to work for this mama.

That night was not only a big deal because I was sending Luke to school for the first time, but also because it was his first night in his crib! We made it 10 weeks in the co-sleeper but after putting him the crib in my mom's nursery at home, I knew it was time :)

Thankfully it was an easy night and I wasn't too sad to see him go. He is just across the hall afterall and we are all sleeping a little better now.

We got ready that morning and surprisingly I wasn't a basket case. I was able to send of my boys without a single tear! (Probably because daddy did drop off. Or, maybe just because I'm too gosh darn tired!)

First day of daycare!

It was a kiss and a hug and off they went!

Of course, I raced to get them that afternoon...

And, just like that, we survived another first day away from each other :)
