Weekend with Bryar!!!

The weekend following my birthday, my parents, Kylee, Bryar and Ledger came to Tallahassee. I had the first Friday in October off for Fall Break so they decided to come for a late birthday weekend. Bryar and I share the same birthday so it was a celebration for both of us :)

I picked Bean up from school earlier than most days and we headed home to meet them. Beanie was so excited when I told him we were going to see his Mimi, Papa, and Bryar! He LOVES Bryar and wants to be just like him!

So Excited!

They ended up being delayed, so we met them at the restaurant instead of our house. Dustin was able to meet us, too! We had Texas Roadhouse and the reunion was wonderful :) It took Xavier and Bryar a while to warm up to each other, but by mid-meal they were sitting together and playing.

After dinner, we all headed back to our house. We hung around for a while until my parents headed to their hotel. Kylee and her babies stayed with us  the whole weekend so that the boys could play the whole time!

Their Band :)
Xavier mimicked Bryar's every move but he was absolutely fascinated with Ledger. He wanted to hold him all weekend!

The next day, we ate lunch at Friday's and ran some errands. The Chrysler was acting funny, so my dad spend the afternoon putting new rotors on it. We were so thankful! We spent the rest of the day hanging out and ordered pizza for dinner. It was so nice just to lay around, watch TV and visit with them.

On Saturday, we went shopping :) The boys all got lots of new clothes for fall/winter and we had fun running around town. It was Kylee's first time in Tallahassee so we made sure to point things out to her.

Tired from all that shopping!

When we got home, we hung around until Dustin got off work. The boys loved playing on their "cars" in the garage and around the house. They had a blast together!

Precious Baby!

When Dust got home, he, Kylee and I took the older boys to the park and my parents stayed  with the baby. They spent well over an hour playing on the equipment and racing back and forth between us and the swings.

hahaha

So Funny!

That evening, we had dinner and lounged while the boy continued to play.

The next morning, we all went to IHOP for breakfast before it was time for them to head back to Indiana.

After breakfast, we headed back to our house where they made sure everything was packed and loaded. This goodbye was just as awful as they always are- maybe even worse. It seems like it gets harder and harder.

Cousins

Xavier cried for Mimi and Bryar for at least 30 minutes after they left. It was horrible. The only way I could calm him down was giving him juice and the soft  blanket his Mimi bought.

We are so glad that they came to see us and we hope the Holidays come quickly!
