While Xavier was experiencing pain in his mouth, he refused to take his titi (spanish for pacifier). After he got over the hump and started eating again, we offered it to him a couple times but he wasn't interested. We are pretty sure that in his little mind, the titi is what caused his pain. Now he won't go anywhere near it! It is so bizarre because his titi was his favorite thing in the whole world!!!
So, it has been three weeks and no pacifier and we aren't complaining! It was WAY easier than we ever thought it would be. We were planning to take it this summer when I am at home with him and were dreading even the thought of it!
It makes me a little sad because this is just another reminder that he is getting older and isn't my little baby anymore. It ended up being a perfect way to get rid of it though, so I guess I should be thankful :)
