Bilingual Baby!!!

As you know, Xavier's caretakers are bilingual. They speak to him only in Spanish (per my request). I speak Spanish at school and Dustin and I are both doing Rosetta Stone at home to become more fluent. We want Xavier to be bilingual because it opens up so many more doors of opportunity.

Well, you can imagine my excitement to hear Xavier say his first Spanish word! His vocabulary consists of three words: mama, dada, and titi. Titi is Spanish for pacifier. After we heard him say titi, we decided we can officially consider him bilingual :) haha!

In all seriousness, he is making progress in his language aquisition and we are having more and more fun with him each day. What a joy our little bilingual baby is!
