6 Months Old!

Today, my baby is 6 months old. I can't believe it! What a blessing this past 6 months has been. He is truly the light of our lives and we could not be more grateful to God for such a beautiful gift.

At this point, there are SO many updates so here we go:

Xavier is becoming more and more mobile each day...he is everywhere! The baby-proofing has slowly begun. He became an expert "roller" over night and can roll the distance of our house in 2 seconds flat.

He is also starting to army crawl. Every day, he gets closer to the hands and knees position. This kid just wants to move! He rarely wants snuggle time (which breaks my heart). When I pick him up from playing, he tries to squirm out of my arms so that he can play on the ground!

He can sit up with the support of his arms for several seconds at a time and is becoming stronger every day. He is developmentally right on schedule :)

When he plays, he talks to himself. When we are in the car, he talks to himself. When he is awake in his crib in the morning, he talks to himself. He loves making noise!

One morning last week, Dustin and I went in to check on him and he had mysteriously turned a complete 180 degrees during the night!

This week, we began purchasing size 4 diapers for him. He is currently wearing 12-18 month clothes. This kid is growing so fast! At his 6 month checkup, he weighed 23lbs 5oz and was 29 inches long.

My daddy is cheap so he dresses me in a onesie that I have outgrown, His solution? Cut off the feet...Mommy and Daddy are VERY different :)

Also this week, he transitioned into a stage 3 convertible car seat and started getting baby food twice a day. He is sleeping through the night about every other night. The other half of the time, he usually wakes up at about 4 for a bottle :)
